Zaniolepis is a genus of scorpaeniform fish known from the fossil record, with a single extant species.

The living species, the longspine combfish (Z. latipinnis), has rough, sandpaper-like skin, and lives in cold marine waters. It inhabits the muddy bottoms of shallow coastal waters, between 35 and 250 meters (100 to 800 feet) depth.
